Golfe-Juan has lovely large sandy beaches and safe swimming in clean water. There are private beach sections and free public sections with free showers. Golfe-Juan is the real Cote d’Azur showing all its beauty as the inhabitants have kept it unspoilt. Unlike Antibes or Juan-les-Pins Golfe-Juan has not turned into to tourist centre . The hills run down into the sea so you can enjoy water sports and the arts all about. There is a nearby harbour for yachts and boats, with harbourside restaurants and cafes. Golfe-Juan is a little town with bars, bakers where you will be able to buy fresh bread each day together with other shops, there is a street market not far away which you can open to explore in the evenings. Juan-le-Pins is nearby and is a centre for night-life and disco’s . Antibes on the other side of Juan-les-Pins is worth exploring. Vallauris, the upper part of Golfe-Juan is interesting and famous world wide for its pottery and links with Picasso.
