Southend-On-Sea Centre

The friendly resort of Southend-on-Sea is located 40 miles East of London, and is most famous for its pier, which at 1.33 miles is the world’s longest pleasure pier. Southend is often referred to as “London’s favourite theme park” due to its close proximity to the capital, and there is certainly never a shortage of things do here. When not enjoying the 7 miles of sea and foreshore you could visit the Kursaal bowling alley, Peter Pan’s Adventure Island, or any other of the many attractions and amusements on offer. There is also an excellent variety of restaurants, bars and pubs.
