Pleasant Stay
We had a 2 day stopover on the way back from a wedding. We has a very pleasant stay. The Wentworth is close enough to walk into and enjoy the wonderful City, whilst being far enough out to make the most of it's quiet surroundings. Just a shame we didn't have time to use the pool as the weather was superb! We would certainly stay at the Wentworth again.

Great Value For Money
A great value for money hotel, we arrived early and got a great welcome and was shown to our room. Friendly staff, clean room, fantastic breakfast and good location. The hotel is getting a bit tired in the odd area but this didn't detract from our stay.

A Very Pleasant Stay
We stayed in room 2 at the top of the house with a splendid view over Bath.

The room was comfortable, adequately equipped and quiet.

The breakfast was lovely with a good choice of fruit, cereal and cooked options.

We walked to and from town which took about 20 minutes at a pleasant stroll. There are shops and places to eat and drink on the way and buses if walking isn't your fancy.

As the title says 'A very pleasant stay'

Very Enjoyable Stay
From check in to check out our stay was lovely. Comfortable room but mattress a little hard for me - personal view only because my friend found hers great! Directions were typed out for easy access into town complete with bus details for return - although we got a taxi (£5) from the station. Breakfast was lovely. Great cold selection and a great choice of hot dishes served on a lovely hot plate. Thank you - will recommend.

Nice Pleasant Stay
Stayed for one night bed and breakfast during half term. We had the family room and despite there being some initial confusion about our booking when we first arrived (despite booking online on the hotels own website) we were still able to have the room we had wanted. Room was clean and pleasant and the breakfast was nice. Staff all friendly.

Wentworth House Hotel
We booked to stay for four nights, after reading some of the reviews we were a little unsure what to expect! We were pleasantly surprised - from the moment me walked through the front door we were made to feel very welcome and it continued like that for the whole four days. Nothing was ever too much trouble, whether it was advice on where to eat to getting us ice and extra glasses. The hotel was a little 'tired' in places but it was spotlessly clean throughout. If you wanted to walk into town (downhill!) it only took approx 5 minutes - we took a taxi back at a cost of £5. Would definately return for another stay in the future.

Business Stay
The hotel was clean and has no evening eating possibilities. However, it is only 10 minutes walk from the centre of town with a very nice pub/restaurant around 5 minutes away.

Staff very friendly, with an excellent breakfast.

Showers and wifi are not the greatest but are sufficient.

Myself and my husband came to bath for our 4th anniversary and loved our stay. The gentleman who we presumed was the owner was very pleasant. He offered us an upgrade when we arrived to a 4 poster bed which we were very grateful for & the breakfast was divine. Lovely stay!

Booked as they offered a family room. Very easy to find and a short walk almost in a straight line, into the city center of Bath.

Warm welcome and no fuss checking in. Room was a good size for a family room. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean, as was the enitre establishment.

Would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to friends and family.

Short Weekend Stay
We stayed here for the Bath Half Marathon, and booked a room for 2adults and 2children - but it was for 4 adults. Upon reading this the hotel upgraded the original room to a bigger one to fit 4adults better, with no additional cost.

On monday morning we thought breakfast finished at 9.30am, so arrived at 9. It actually finished at 9, but they assumed that we had made this mistake and so kept the breakfast open for us, they still even made us cooked breakfast!

Very accommodating and friendly staff :) We had a lovely stay

Excellent - Can't Wait To Come Back!
I booked our stay at Wentworth as part of a surprise birthday treat for my other half. We were in room 15, a king size, 4 poster, conservatory room. It was lovely. Our room opened up to the hot tub & pool area with a small grassy area just outside the patio doors with outdoor furniture. The conservatory had a sofa & some chairs too and we really enjoyed relaxing in there with a cup of tea and hot chocolate. We booked a slot in the hot tub & made use of the buy one get one free offer which was great value at only £6 for an hour of exclusive use. It was very private and luxurious - especially as our hotel room was only a few feet away. The bar had a nice selection of wine & we had a couple of glasses in the tub to celebrate. Even though we were late for breakfast in the morning, the manager was only too happy to serve us anything we wanted from the cooked menu. The service was outstanding. We had a really special time at Wentworth & will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome in your lovely, lovely hotel.

Good Hotel
We stayed one night at the Wentworth. We paid £55 online for a double room. Paying online is reccommended as online rates are much cheaper for some reason. When we arrived at the hotel we were upgraded to a room with a four poster bed. It was very nice, clean and excellent value for money. The staff were polite and friendly and the breakfast was also very good. For the money - it was an excellent place to stay.

Overall our stay at Wentworth House was great, the shower didn't work in our room unfortunately but we were moved immediately to another room which turned out to be even better.
