Warm And Welcoming
We were very impressed, during our one-night stay, with the welcoming and professional care of Bella Vista's proprietors, Tim and Bev. The room, though small, was clean and well-prepared, the breakfast was delicious, and we were even lent the money for the car parking fee when we arrived in the rain. A nice establishment, though two flights of stairs, the small room space, and the trek to the car-park may daunt less mobile visitors.

Super Godt Engelsk Hotel

Relaxing Stay
Stayed for two nights thu/fri. Bev and Tim can't do enough for you. Any request will be met if possible. Room was spotless. Had a fantastic two days here. Would highly recommend. Only criticism would be the breakfast soundtrack, I love Frank Sinatra but on the second morning found the background music rather melancholy. Choose something more uplifting to start the day, especially if you are catering for families.

Excellent B&b
Very friendly proprietors who really made an effort to make children feel welcome. Very clean rooms. Nice breakfast (they even counted out 27 beans for me) and great location - 2 min walk from beach and 10 mins from main shopping centre if pushing a pushchair.

Bella Vista Hotel
We were delighted with our stay at the Bella Vista. Even before we arrived, we felt that we would be welcomed, and from the moment we stepped through the door we were! There were toys for our children to play with, and the room was well equipped for us as a family to comfortably enjoy our stay. We would recommend staying here, and would love to return sometime.

With nearly 200 years of experience of welcoming holiday makers, its small wonder Weston remains as much of a magnet for visitors, as it always has. Weston boasts a beautiful promenade, stretching for 1 1/4 miles along the sandy beach. Break your walk by visiting Sea Life Centre, Grand Pier and Marine Lake (boating and paddling). There is a host of great places to visit within easy reach such as Cheddar Caves, Wookey Hole and the historic towns of Wells, Glastonbury and Bath. Weston is only 25 minutes drive from Bristol International Airport.

Weston-Super-Mare Golf Club - Weston-Super-Mare - Golf

Weston-Super-Mare Golf Club - Weston-Super-Mare - Golf

Distance 1.45 miles (2.32 km)
Our Course, which was officially opened on the 24th September 1892, is unusual. It is by the seaside, but is not truly a seaside links in the sense that dunes do not form part of the challenge but are rather the seaward boundary of the course. There are few trees on the course, more likely large shrubs. The overall impression is of wide horizons and masses of sky. In summer the greens are fast and true, the fairways tight and the rough punishing. In winter the course is rarely closed and is always played off real tees, just occasionally, depending on the weather, it may be necessary to use temporary greens but this is no more than a few days each year.

Worlebury Golf Club - Avon - Golf

Distance 1.62 miles (2.59 km)
There can be few more historic places to test your handicap than at the long-established Worlebury Golf Club, near Weston super Mare. It was founded in 1908 by Henry Butt, a local philanthropist, with a group of like minded prominent businessmen, initially for their own enjoyment. This traditional parkland course offers all the challenges of golf in a hilly terrain - with an excellent mix of holes providing a stiff challenge to both low and high handicappers, under the watchful eye of club professional Gary Marks, club captain Martin Ford and club secretary Mike Wake.

Brean Golf Club - Burnham-On-Sea - Golf

Brean Golf Club - Burnham-On-Sea - Golf

Distance 5.06 miles (8.09 km)
Welcome to Brean Golf Club. Golf enthusiasts will love Brean Golf Club! It's an 18 hole, 5715 yard, par 69 course, located at Brean Leisure Park, in approximately 100 acres of lush green meadowland. Water features come into play on many of the holes providing formidable hazards to the flat landscape. The greens are irrigated by a popup sprinkler and since the fairways are cut from meadowland, they remain lush even in drought and are well drained. Hence you'll find the course is seldom closed. Plus, with the course being on the coast, you'll find the fresh winds and breezes add to the challenge of the course!
