Second Stay At The Best B&b In Gorleston
Myself and my Mum stayed at Jennis Lodge for a long weekend on the 7th April. This was my second time staying here and it was an excellent stay as always! Vicci and Paul cannot do enough for you. The rooms are immaculate and the breakfast is top notch! They even cater for my Gluten Free requirements. The guest lodge is an excellent find in a great location. I visit Gorleston quite frequently and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else!

Friendly, Family Guest House
We stayed for 2 nights in December and were made very welcome from our arrival, which began with the offer of a cup of tea. We had 2 rooms which were warm and clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The breakfasts were excellent and the service could not have been better.

Thankyou to Vicci and Paul for their hospitality. They could not have done more to make us all welcome.

Another Great Stay At Jennis Lodge
This is the second time we have stayed at Jennis Lodge and hope to return again sometime soon. Vicci and Paul were just as welcoming as the first time (even carrying our suitcases up the stairs) and the room we stayed in (I think it was the same one as two years ago) was very clean and comfortable. We were lucky that the weather was beautiful for our visit so we were able to get walks on the beach each day. The beach is only a few minutes walk from the house and is excellent for walking with our little dog. We would definitely recommend this B&B as one of the best pet friendly places we have stayed in.

The Perfect B & B
Jennis Lodge is a lovely cosy B & B, very close to the seafront at Gorleston. Vicci and Paul both worked very hard to make by stay a pleasant one, including organising an early breakfast for me! I look forward to my next visit and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jennis Lodge for either business or pleasure.

Dog Friendly Experience
Having done a general "dog friendly" search for accomadation in Gorleston we found the Jennis Lodge. It was only for the one night but we would love to have made it a longer stay. Our room was very comfortable and, with the dogs in the room as well, we felt relaxed. We were made to feel relaxed and welcomed in a very friendly manner. Breakfast was excellent and set you up for the day. As the Lodge is only 100mtr from the main promenade and acccess to the beach it was ideal. All in all it was a superb stay and one we hope to repeat.

Great Yarmouth Centre - Town Centre

Distance 1.94 miles (3.11 km)
Great Yarmouth has attracted visitors for 900 years but the seaside has been the main attraction for only 200, so behind the glamour, glitter and bright lights that make Great Yarmouth one of the UK's most popular seaside resorts is a town steeped in history. Great Yarmouth was one of the wealthiest towns in Britain because of its prosperous herring industry and in 1724 Daniel Defoesaid Great Yarmouth had "the finest quay in England, if notin Europe". The Town Wall built between 1261 and 1400 ranks amongst the best in the country as most of the wall and towers still survive. Great Yarmouth has eight museums.

As well as the 18 hole golf course, there's an interesting par three course which demands the use of a range of clubs. The golf course is configured as two loops of nine holes eminating from the clubhouse and is inviting with views from the first tee over much of the opening nine holes which is set on undulating land. The clubhouse is converted 18th century Grade II listed barn and has adjoining changing rooms with oak lockers.
