The Radcliffe-on-Trent Golf Club is within easy reach of Nottingham, Leicester, Newark and Grantham and offers a superb 18-hole parkland course measuring 6381 yards with three of the most challenging finishing holes in Nottinghamshire. The SSS and par are both 70. The Golf Club was founded in 1909 with approximately 40 acres of land, and affords splendid views over the Vale of Belvoir, the castle itself appearing in the background. Lord Manvers leased to the Club enough land to open its original 9-hole course and thereafter the Club adopted the Manvers coat of arms as its crest.
